Brad Langan is the Chief Financial Officer of FCCS, where he leads the organization’s finance and accounting operations, as well as a team dedicated to careful strategic financial management to ensure the continued financial viability of the company. He also serves as treasurer of the Farm Credit System Captive Insurance Company (the Captive), providing support for accounting, financial reporting, analysis and financial planning functions, and serves as the financial lead for the Farm Credit Council. Brad works closely with the boards of FCCS, the Captive and the Council, including supporting key board committees in carrying out their charters.
Brad joined FCCS in 2012, serving first as Accounting Manager before being promoted to Director of Finance in 2016. In this role, he was responsible for all accounting, budgeting, financial analysis and reporting for the Risk Management Department of FCCS, as well as the Captive, Harvest Re and other related businesses. Before FCCS, Brad worked in insurance sales, and spent three years in public accounting as an auditor focused on agribusiness, insurance, real estate, construction, non-profits and other companies. He started his professional career in 2007.

Brad earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Westminster College.
