Aligned Assurance Journey

Working together is better than working alone….at least most of the time! In this session we will discuss the partnership model used to build and mature an organization’s approach to its assurance needs while balancing independence requirements and audit fatigue. This partnership model can be leveraged operationally and for Board Committee reporting as well.

Learner Outcomes:

1. Hear how established risk and audit functions within the Farm Credit System have developed partnerships between the functions and the organizational benefits it has provided.
2. Learn what functions within risk and audit must remain separate and why.
3. Gain an understanding of how the Board Risk and Audit Committees can mutually benefit from the relationship between risk and audit.
4. Learn about practical considerations that can be leveraged in your organization as you choose to step into the Aligned Assurance journey.
