Bryan Stanek started his 23-year career within the Farm Credit System in 1999. This opportunity presented itself while finishing his studies in Agribusiness-finance, management, and equipment and power systems at University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Additionally, he studied at the ARA Management Academy at Purdue University. His first role with Badgerland Farm Credit Services was as an account officer serving broad demographic agriculture in Monroe County Wisconsin. In 2013 he was promoted to the role of Executive SVP-Credit Delivery, where Bryan reported to the cooperative board of directors and managed the employee sales field staff, credit programs, and developed growth/service quality initiatives. After the merger that created Compeer Financial in July of 2017, Bryan provided senior leadership for the Industry Specialist group, which included carbon markets, large dairy, potatoes/vegetables, cranberries/fruit, forestry, farm to fork, and leasing. In 2023, Bryan will be transitioning to a new role as Managing Director of New Markets. This includes focusing on and developing new loan services for sustainability, regenerative, conservation, and carbon markets for agriculture.
Bryan lives in rural Baraboo, Wisconsin with his two teenage boys and wife. They share his passion for the outdoors and agriculture. He still has ties to his family Christmas tree farm where he spends many weekends devoted to the trade.
