Long-time employee Brad Langan has been named Chief Financial Officer of FCC Services, where he will lead the organization’s finance and accounting operations, as well as a team dedicated to careful strategic financial management to ensure the continued financial viability of the company. He also serves as treasurer of the Farm Credit System Captive Insurance Company (the Captive), providing support for accounting, financial reporting, analysis and financial planning functions, and as the financial lead for the Farm Credit Council. Brad works closely with the boards of FCC Services, the Captive and the Council, including supporting key board committees in carrying out their charters.
“I have a passion for helping businesses succeed through effective financial management and seeing how so many different businesses operate has given me a strong foundation for making strategic, data-based decisions,” Brad says. “This is especially critical, and challenging, right now and I’m looking forward to helping guide FCC Services through this unprecedented situation and maintaining our financial viability even as we evolve our programs and how we deliver them.”
Brad joined FCC Services in 2012, serving first as Accounting Manager before being promoted to Director of Finance in 2016. In this role, he was responsible for all accounting, budgeting, financial analysis and reporting for the Risk Management department of FCC Services, as well as the Captive, Harvest Re and other related businesses. Before FCC Services, Brad worked in insurance sales, and spent three years in public accounting as an auditor focused on agribusiness, insurance, real estate, construction, non-profits and other companies. He started his professional career in 2007.
Brad earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Westminster College.
