Biography

Matthew joined Farm Credit Mid-America in 2010 and has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry focusing on credit, investment, and portfolio analysis. He led the implementation of automated decision models for the agricultural loan portfolio and leads the portfolio stress testing and market/competitive intelligence efforts for the Association. Additionally, he oversees portfolio analysis with a focus on asset quality, credit metrics, risk migration and performance.

Prior to joining Farm Credit Mid-America, Matthew was a senior financial analyst for AEGON N.V., a $417 billion multi-national financial services firm. Matthew graduated from the University of Louisville with a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing with a minor in international business, obtained an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. He was raised and lives in Louisville, KY with his wife and two children.
