  • WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE

New and experienced team leaders who oversee front line contributors; currently or in the near future.

  • OVERVIEW

Join us on an 18-month learning journey and practice key skills to lead others, communicate effectively and build a resilient and efficient team.

This journey is designed to be transformative, personal and empowering.

    • Attend four multi-day, in-person workshops, supplemented with engaging, online sessions to review best practices and stay connected.
    • Enjoy content and format developed and delivered by an expert FCCS team well-versed in adult learning and professional development, enhanced by outside experts and thought leaders, and informed by our clients and two Client Advisory Boards.
    • At each in-person session, enjoy a hands-on team experience to expand mind sets and skills.
    • Network with peers in both the larger group AND a smaller role-specific team.
    • Deliver real-world results by applying what you learn in between sessions.
  • AGENDA

Session 1: Leadership Blueprint and Courage
At the core of the shift from team member to team leader is the relationships you have with the handful of people who report directly to you. Learn to build trust and performance through honest, caring feedback. You’ll receive your Top 10 Leader Clifton Strengths® results and build your Leadership Blueprint as you clarify your leader values and create your purpose and plan.

Session 2: Team Growth and Empowerment
Today’s teams are different from the teams of the past: They’re far more diverse, dispersed, digital, and dynamic. Develop your team members through meaningful connections and the right coaching. You’ll practice situational leadership SLII®, to improve your one on ones and empower your team. In addition, increase your ability to problem solve and make decisions with the power of Polarity Thinking .

    Session 3: Culture and Results
Build a culture of high performance by adopting a few proven processes from the military. Increase team collaboration through a compelling direction, a strong structure, and a supportive context. Then be inspired by an industry visionary sharing future trends in finance. Generate ideas about what future services and skills your team may need to meet your customer’s changing world.

    Session 4: Trust and Inclusion
Team members do their best when they feel safe to speak up, share ideas and admit mistakes. Get one on one coaching from master facilitators on how to run inclusive meetings. Build trust as you use the Carrot Principle to acknowledge your team member’s efforts meaningfully. Celebrate with your peers at a capstone (graduation) dinner with senior leaders.
