Passkey Partner Wolters Kluwer Acquires eOriginal

Wolters Kluwer Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) announced on December 16 that it has completed the acquisition of eOriginal, a leading provider of cloud-based digital lending software. The acquisition extends GRC Compliance Solutions’ leading position in U.S. loan document generation and analytics into the fast-growing digital loan closing and storage adjacency.

With Wolters Kluwer Expere® and eOriginal integrated solutions, lenders can implement an end-to-end digital workflow, beginning with the application and spanning the loan lifecycle. This includes creation of compliant documents, the electronic and/or hybrid signature and notarization component, along with the management, storage and eAsset management after closing. Customers can improve upon the borrower’s experience and eliminate costs associated with paper documents, both of which create capital efficiency and increase speed to the secondary market. Customers can also have confidence in the added security and storage from our eVault — which eliminates risk and ensures standards are met throughout our vast partnership ecosystem.
